What a Visit Looks Like

Built Around You

We customize every visit. Most people spend about an hour meeting every animal, and you're welcome to stay longer — up to about three hours on the property. One group at a time, always.

Your Guide

Guided by Tessa

Tours are led personally by our co-founder. She'll walk you through the property, introduce you to every animal by name, and tell you where each of them came from and what it took to get them well.

Any and all questions can be asked and answered in person! From the history of each rescue, to what their day-to-day care looks like.

Water for you and treats to give the rescues are on us!

Stunning photos with our horses and the sanctuary as your backdrop. We don't provide a photographer, but we're happy to recommend one.

Before You Come

Good to Know

This is our home, too.
You're not just visiting a sanctuary — you're being welcomed into the place we live. We treat every visit as the private, exclusive thing it is, and we ask guests to do the same.

Always private.
One group at a time. You'll never share your visit with strangers.

Plan for at least an hour.
That's the time it takes to meet everyone. Stay up to three hours if the day allows.

Water and horse treats included.
Both provided — you just bring yourselves.

Dress for a ranch.
Closed-toe shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. This is a working ranch with animals — plan accordingly.

Every age is welcome.
There's no minimum age. Horses are wise, and they love children of all ages.

Getting around.
This is a walking tour, and the ground is uneven — we go into pens and pastures with the animals. If anyone in your group has specific conditions or mobility needs, tell us when you book. We'll do our best to work around them, and we're happy to answer questions beforehand.
