Iris

{"type"=>"root", "children"=>[{"type"=>"paragraph", "children"=>[{"type"=>"text", "value"=>"Iris was rescued from Bowie, TX. She was an ex-Amish working draft horse and was dumped to be shipped to slaughter when she could “no longer do a full day’s work”. She is covered in scars from her face, to her shoulders, across her back, and her belly from equipment. She is stern and stoic, yet gentle and kind. She is always so respectful of everyone around her and understands when it's time for vet and farrier day. I have so much admiration for how much she has overcome. She is retired with Lago and Walter in a 3-acre pasture of their own!"}]}]}
