Unfortunately, her owner committed suicide, leaving her with nowhere to go. A local girl’s home took her in as an “equine therapy horse” and reached out to us when she was not getting around well. She had DSLDS, a tissue disorder, Stringhault, a neuromuscular disease, and ended up testing positive for EPM, a neurological disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. We treated her EPM and were able to keep her comfortable for over two years before her DSLDS became too severe and she was no longer able to walk comfortably. She was strikingly beautiful and a gentle sweetheart. "}]}]}
