Davy

{"type"=>"root", "children"=>[{"type"=>"paragraph", "children"=>[{"type"=>"text", "value"=>"Davy was rescued out of a horse traders’ hands in Bowie, TX. I had not noticed him when he went through the auction ring since they used thick saddle pads to hide his emaciated bones. He was exhausted, sick, had cancer on his face and was severely malnourished. After rescuing him and bringing him home, we discovered he was the most feisty old man we had ever met. He preferred his own space, and fought off every sickness, infection and hurdle that came his way. After a few months, his cancer grew too severe and we had to say our goodbyes. "}]}]}
