Micco

{"type"=>"root", "children"=>[{"type"=>"paragraph", "children"=>[{"type"=>"text", "value"=>"Micco was rescued from a local kill pen, just five hours away from us. He was in terrible condition. He had old and fresh cuts and bites all over his body, his knee was displaced, sick, and emaciated. He was hundreds of pounds underweight. He fought for his life daily, and some days we had hope he would overcome what humans did to him. For one whole month he gained weight, received antibiotics and pain medication and despite his internal healthy and body composition improving, the weight gain worsened his arthritic joints. We said goodbye to Micco, freeing him from his painful body."}]}]}
